I try to make my lessons feel relaxed, enjoyable, and easy to follow. I bring a sense of humour into class where I can, because I find students learn better when they feel comfortable and not afraid to make mistakes. When a maths topic looks complicated at first, I like to unpack it step by step and show students that it is often much more manageable than it seems. I also use clear and relatable examples to bring abstract ideas to life, so difficult concepts feel more concrete and easier to remember. My aim is to help students not only get the right answer, but also build real confidence in the way they think through problems. . Lessons are usually around one hour long. I mainly teach students in Years 8, 9, and 10, especially those who want to build strong foundations early or get a head start on VCE content.
