About Dylan
I'm a sophomore at the University of Michigan studying Computer Science and Economics. As a high school student, I really enjoyed math and began tutoring middle/high school students as a junior, where I found I had a knack for explaining challenging concepts. In my free time I enjoy playing sports, going to the beach, and trying new restaurants with friends.

As a tutor, I strive to instill a growth mindset into my students and build their self confidence around challenging topics. I start by getting an understanding of the students' strengths and weaknesses, and focus on identifying which topics the student needs to better understand. I typically have them work through problems of increasing difficulty to teach the underlying concept and ensure they fully understand it before moving on. I'm comfortable working with students in middle/high school, and as a recent high school graduate I can easily empathize with them.
