About Santiago
I am an undergraduate student currently studying at the University of Nottingham. I struggled with exam anxiety and this would often have a negative impact on my confidence and therefore my results. It wasn’t until I asked for help with my studies from teachers and other resources that my confidence began to improve and so did my grades. Because of this, I managed to achieve 8s and 9s in my GCSEs. During my first year of A levels, I was faced with some unforeseen personal circumstances which took a toll on my grades. After that first year, I was predicted BBC in politics, psychology, and economics. With some hard work and dedication, I managed to improve my grades to AAB. I know the struggles that students face when it comes to exams all too well. I am eager to share my experience and give lessons to students who feel they need that extra boost to achieve what they deserve.

I take a proactive approach to tutoring, focusing on the needs of the student. I like to have an open dialogue with my tutees about their goals and their desired areas of improvement. The lessons are an hour and will focus on exam preparation with past paper questions and detailed analysis of the questions and answers. On top of this, I address any issues that the student is having in the class. The aim is to help with exam anxiety and ensure the student is comfortable with difficult questions. I have tutored younger students while I was at school. I received 8s and 9s in GCSE and AAB in A level. My lessons are aimed at GCSE students and A level economics students.
