About Julia
I am a student at the University of Ottawa in the Bachelor of Science in Psychology program. I have a lot of experience with teaching, as I have done substitute teaching for high schools in Ottawa. I am a very friendly, patient, and motivating person who will cater to your needs and learning style to deliver material in the best way possible. My strong suit is Math, but I am also comfortable with helping in subjects such as English, Religion, and some Sciences.

I base my classes on the needs of the student. I will modify the material you need to learn so that you are able to understand it and apply it in the style that suits you. For example if you are a visual learner, I will come with pictures, YouTube links, and drawing materials. If you are a tactile based learner, I will use physical aids such as blocks and geometry sets. My classes are meant for students in Gr 9-12, with a specialization in students in Gr 9-10. As your teacher, you can expect a fun filled class that will go at the pace that you need.

My base rate is 21$/hour. Please note that if the travelling time is more than 20 minutes from Kanata I charge a 5$ travelling fee!
