About Laila
I am passionate about ensuring that all students are able to have equal and fair opportunity to succeed. I understand that post-COVID it has been difficult for many students to catch up with the demands of the system. Therefore, I am passionate about supporting students of all backgrounds and abilities in being able to exceed their own expectations in RE, Sociology and RE!

My teaching practice is rooted in ensuring a personalised approach to learning. Currently an experienced Secondary School Teacher and Head of RE (also teaching Sociology and Psychology). Offering 1hr sessions per week for 16-18 year olds (GCSE and A-Level). Times can be negotiated. Teaching resources: -Regular exam practice - Modelled answers and structures - A variety of revision resources - Access to examiners' reports and feedback - Able support throughout the week. - Able to give regular feedback on assessments

Amazing tutor, very expressive when it comes to explaining things(which is helpful),very patient and extremely welcoming.
I 100% recommend this tutorLaila is such a trustworthy and supportive tutor. My mom is friends with her and told me to work with her. I was really struggling with understanding the Six Beliefs and 5 Roots of Shia Islam but Laila supported me in fully understanding it. I ended up getting a grade 8 in my GCSE RE exam last year!
I think Laila is a trustworthy tutor because she is reliable and they're confident and proactive in building positive relationships. She carries herself with a positive attitude that makes the room shine with a calming and gentle aura!
