About Creggan
I have been a university professor since I graduated with a PhD in 2000. I have had various jobs in IT throughout my career, first as a data entry clerk, then in database design and development, programming, technical writing, and training. I have taught classes in programming, database design, systems analysis and design, and computer skills (Microsoft Office).

I tailor my approach to any specific issues you are facing. In addition to my years of experience teaching at the university level, I also have real-world experience working as an IT professional and understand the common issues that people have with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I don't just teach from a textbook. My teaching includes my experience from office jobs in the past.
I will try to assess what you already know and work from there, building on your existing knowledge base. I will ask questions as we go along to ensure your understanding of what we have covered. Most importantly, I will give you the chance during the tutoring session to try things on your own to ensure that you are able to use the tools and features we have covered.
