About Bradley
I posess a wide variety of experience in teaching and facilitating students learning mathematics. Before Covid-19 I ran a small business consisting of four students who I regularly tutored each week for a full academic year. Within that time each of my students experienced significant improvement in their own unique way, whether that be reaching a desired grade or obtaining confidence. Other experience includes teaching classes of primary school children and leading seminar groups of upto thirty first year degree students throughtout the entirety of their first academic year, each of which I gained positive feedback from.
Degree achieved: Bachelors of Science with first class honours in Mathematics and Statistics.

Being someone who always struggled with maths in the early years of secondary school I know how fustrating it can be to try and understand the content the teachers are delivering. Due to this my goal is to set a comfortable informal environment to help you become confident in the topics of maths you are struggling with and put you in the best possible position to ace your exams. In my lessons, there's no such thing as a stupid question!
My teaching methodology consists of walking through your current knowledge of a topic and addressing where the key issues are arising from and then working through questions gathered from internet resourses and past exams ensuring that you obtain full competence in the areas which you found hard prior to the lessons.
My usual approach to a lesson on a topic discussed before the lesson would plan out like,
- 10 to 20 minutes of talking through the theory of a topic clearing any rough edges or misunderstandings you may have
- Then providing you with a worked example of a practice question where I work through the question step by step the way I would ansewring any exam question
- Then for the rest of the lesson we'll attempt questions together and I'll answer any questions you may have along the way.
This is a flexible plan so can easily be adjusted to your needs or preferences.
