About Matthew
I am a University of Sheffield student studying Japanese Studies. I recently arrived back in the UK after studying in Japan for a year, where I taught English to students of various ages and abilities. I have around six months experience giving weekly lessons to multiple students at a time, whilst attending Tsukuba University, so I can divide my responsibilities evenly at no expense to the other.

My teaching method is to split a one hour lesson into three, twenty minute chunks, each focusing on a key area of learning. For example, starting a lesson with grammar exercises, following into reading comprehension and finishing with writing comprehension. This ensures that at least three key skills are being developed every lesson, and I usually prepare homework if the student wants some extra work.
