About Mahta
I am a Mathematics and Computer Science student at the University of Southampton with a strong interest in teaching and helping students succeed academically. I enjoy explaining maths in a clear and approachable way and helping students build confidence in subjects they may find challenging.
I decided to tutor because I understand how overwhelming maths can feel at GCSE and A-Level, and I want to support students by making lessons clear, structured and encouraging.

My lessons are structured and personalised to suit each student’s level and learning style. I focus on building strong understanding by explaining concepts clearly and step by step, using examples and practice questions throughout the lesson.
Lessons typically last about one hour and are delivered online in a calm and supportive environment. I am a Mathematics and Computer Science student at the University of Southampton, and I tutor GCSE and A-Level students in Maths, Further Maths, Statistics and Trigonometry, helping with exam preparation, homework support and confidence building.
