About Ling
I've had extensive experience teaching, including tutoring physics, math and chemistry during high school, teaching English to ESL students, as well as teaching Chinese to grade school students. Being a current student, I understand the difficulties that students experience when learning from an expert, and from my extensive experience from teaching one-on-one, I've learned to explain concepts in an accessible manner.
Education Background
I am currently a student in the BHSc program at McMaster. I received 100% on all evaluations in physics 1A03, and completed the course with A+.
I completed the international baccalaureate (IB) program during high school. I completed physics with 97%.

As I believe that every student learns differently, I adjust my teaching method to suit each individual's needs. A typical class would start with me asking what the student would like to achieve during this time, and adjust my curriculum accordingly. I would alternate teaching points with practice questions to consolidate the information.
