About Paul
I am a first-year Economics student at the University of Utrecht. I was born in the Netherlands, but spent the last four years at a high school in Australia, where I followed a full English-language program, and then graduated. In the past few years I have found a passion for teaching, and I have helped Dutch and English-speaking students in Australia with English lessons and exams.

I think it is important that the student (s) I teach are interested and motivated when they are working on English. In my personal experiences, and something that I recognize in almost all of my students, English is a language that lends itself well to learning in a fun and therefore often easier way. This is because almost everyone has a hobby / interest / passion about which information is available in English. By linking English with a subject that the student finds interesting, understanding and using the language becomes a lot easier, and it also gives the student the opportunity to become more familiar with the subject and English time.
