About Lucy
I'm Lucy, a current university student pursuing an honours biochemistry degree. I have tutoring experience starting at age 16, and I love working with other students to share my love of math. This doesn't have to be a scary subject! With experience from algebra to multivariable calculus, I'm ready to work through this with you.

I offer a practice-based approach catered towards students looking to understand why certain mathematic techniques are used in order to better apply them. A typical lesson begins with 15 minutes of concept review, followed by working new practice examples, the first few of which are done together and the last few of which are done independently then discussed with me. Following this, the student will explain the concept in their own words and then we will work through one to two problems that the student struggled with in class.
