About Talitha
I have over 8 years of tutoring experience in both Maths and English Literature as studied at IGCSE/A Level and also spent 6 months in Barcelona tutoring English as a foreign language to all levels (A1-C2).
I was an academic scholar at school and so I was assigned four IGCSE/AS Level students in the years below to tutor. In under two months, their grades increased from B/C/D/D to A*/A*/A*/A. I also tutored outside of school both in an academic context and also extra-curricular. The longest I have been working with a student is 8 years, as I started tutoring her Maths and English for her 11+ exams and I am currently helping her with her Maths A2!

The first session is free of charge, as I assess which areas need focus. From then, each lesson is tailored to your needs and as frequently or sporadically as you would like. I am happy to help with anything that will facilitate your learning best. A few examples including homework, providing corrections and explanations, going over any areas you have difficulty with as well as providing insight on exam strategy.
Learning how to think like the examiner can be tricky but it is critical in order to attain the grade that will do all of your studying justice! I took my exams (A2) in June 2019 and have continued tutoring since then and so I am very familiar with the specific technique required by boards such as Edexcel and OCR.
