About Sameeha
I am a first year student, currently studying International Management, at the University of Bath. Once I begin teaching a new student, I am invested in ensuring they succeed. I pride myself in my organisational skills and strong work ethic. These attributes are evident via my strong academic attainment, which I have been able to achieve alongside recreational commitments. In spite of the above, I am approachable, friendly and flexible.

I recognise the importance of effective teaching methods in order to boost both a student's progress, as well as confidence, in a subject. I appreciate that teaching is not a one-size-fits-all approach, hence why I carry out a range of approaches. These approaches vary in relation to factors such as ability, confidence and the student's personal goals. I myself have received tutoring throughout my education, in order to support my 11+ and GCSEs. By having been a tutee myself, I am able to put myself in the position of who I am teaching. This has contributed to rapport building. I have had experience tutoring KS2 English. My lessons are targeted at KS1 and KS2 students in both English and Maths. During these lessons, I strive to not only improve their understanding and knowledge, but also spark an enthusiasm for the subject.
