About Kayathri
As a university student studying Economics and Accounting, I understand the challenges students face with Maths—and how to overcome them. I’m passionate about helping young learners unlock their potential by making Maths feel more approachable and less intimidating. With a strong academic track record and a patient, clear teaching style, I work with GCSE and Key Stage 3 students to build solid foundations, improve problem-solving skills, and prepare effectively for exams. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s pace and confidence level. Whether a student is aiming for a top grade or just trying to keep up in class, I’m here to support their journey and help them grow both academically and personally.

My teaching style is student-focused, supportive, and adaptable. I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s individual learning style and pace, ensuring they feel confident and engaged. I use a combination of visual aids, real-life examples, and past paper practice to reinforce key concepts and build exam technique. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted based on the student’s needs and concentration span. During each session, we focus on a specific topic, work through examples together, and finish with independent practice to build confidence. I am currently an Economics and Accounting student at the University of Leicester, with strong academic results in GCSE and A-Level Maths, Economics, and Psychology. I also hold a certificate in Excel from Santander Open Academy, and I’m bilingual in English and Tamil, which helps me communicate clearly with a wide range of students. I tutor GCSE and Key Stage 3 Maths students, typically aged 11–16, and I’m passionate about helping students improve their grades, boost their confidence, and develop a positive attitude towards learning.
