About Emily
My name is Emily and I study English at university. it was always my favourite subject in school and to be able to help others is really fulfilling to me. I come from a family of teachers (my mum, aunts and my nan) so I know the correct way to approach teaching. I have shadowed English teachers in the past in the year groups 7-9 and have also helped my peers during lessons from years 10-13.

If you are studying English at GCSE or English Literature and Lanaguage at Alevel, I have personal knowledge on how to achieve the highest grade you can as well as how to source secondary readings that are helpful to your essays. As a student myself, I take an informal approach and hope to make the student feel comfortable in asking for help and advice.
