About Emily
Hello! I am a university student studying HSIE Secondary Education with several years experience in tutoring and over 10 weeks experience teaching in Australian Secondary schools.
My areas of study are History, Geography, Business Studies, Commerce, Legal Studies, Society and Culture and, exam and assignment preparation. I am also not opposed to helping students in years 7-10 with any area of study, such as Mathematics, English, and Science, as I have done so in the past.
All of my students understand that not only do I encourage, support and push them to be their best but I am also dedicated to their wellbeing and ensuring that their teen years are not a time of stress and anxiety, but rather a time to explore who they are and what they enjoy.

I believe that although academic success is important and a core aspect to judging a students personal capability, the most relevant indicator of success is how much they enjoy the work they are participating in. Without enjoyment, their is no engagement, and without engagement there will be no success.
Therefore I ensure that all my lessons are tailored to each students individual needs and learning styles as well as their interests and capabilities.

Details
I require a minimum of 12 hours notice for cancellation of lessons, if the lesson is cancelled within this period a fee of half of the lessons cost will be applied.
