About Berenice
I am a university student from France studying abroad, which gave me the opportunity to tutor friends and classmates in French, first as a plus to help them with their French classes, then by having fully French discussions. I believe the best way to learn a language is to be immersed in it, but for people that do not have the opportunity to do so, speaking is the best way to do it!

Although the lessons will incorporate grammar and writing, I want it to be more like a discussion, centric on chosen themes, along with related vocabulary lists. We will emphasize on speaking and reading aloud, and then move on to writing and memorization. I will welcome questions and answer them with examples. My tutoring is to teach French in a way that you can actually have discussions with locals and retain information. French, as a hard language, is too often taught in a very literal textbook way that leaves the student unable to have a real discussion and forgetting everything they learned. Those lessons can be adapted to all levels, from beginners looking to learn a new language, intermediates trying to get better, to nearly bilinguals looking to improve even further.
