About Grace
My name is Grace and I am currently studying to obtain a Bachelor of Human Nutrition with LaTrobe University.
I started tutoring in high school before I really found my love for it last year when I started tutoring multiple students on a regular basis. My most favourite thing about tutoring is when a student has that light bulb moment and you can see their pride as they finally understand a challenging concept.
As strange as it sounds, I am someone who has always gotten a great sense of satisfaction from finally solving what seemed like an impossible question and I hope to work with you to find the same level of excitement about maths.

Maths is a challenging subject where the approach needs to be tailored to each student. In sessions, I focus on working with the students to find a way that makes every concept easy to understand. We will try as many approaches as needed so that every student is armed with a toolbox of skills that they can use when faced with more challenging applications of the skill, such as those seen in exam situations.
As someone who played sport at an elite level while in school myself, I do also recognise that life is full of many priorities and that school work needs to be balanced with these. Due to this, I take the time to help students learn how to effectively prioritise their work so they can stay on top (or ahead) in terms of their school work, while not sacrificing other aspects of life.
I look forward to working with every new student to make maths something that is enjoyable, full of a sense of achievement, and less daunting.
