About Sarah
I am a Computer Science and Finance student who has always had a passion for teaching. Being a teacher has been my dream job for as long as I can remember, and as I am entering my final year of university, I want to gain experience in education to get insight to whether or not teaching could become a possible next step in my career. In my adolescence, I struggled with maths a lot due to a lack of focus and motivation, but I learnt how to turn it around and I want to share these skills with students who are in the same position I was in several years ago. Maths does not have to be hated and difficult; it's all around us in our daily lives, and having a strong grasp of it is one of the most powerful tools someone can have.

Your brain is a muscle, so we train it like a muscle -- consistent, "rep" focused training. Learning maths isn't a sprint, it's all about consistency and building on foundations. Tailored to your specific interests, problem areas, or assignments, we will focus on building context and deep understanding around specific maths topics.
My lessons can be as long as each unique student needs, with a cap at 2 hours, and is for maths from elementary students until further maths and calculus. I have tutored secondary students, but as a computer science and finance student, maths is a fundamental and regular part of my daily life and is something I am highly proficient in and enjoy greatly.
