About Ghazal
Hello! My name is Ghazal and I am currently a student at the University of Toronto. I am completing a double major in English and French, with a minor in philosophy. My goal for my studies is to become a secondary school teacher of the English language and I am on my way to completing my combined Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Teaching program. I am very well versed in the realm of English, having taken various courses from creative writing, charting literary history, the short story, children’s literature and more! I have a wide range of first-hand experience within the many dimensions of the English language and my ability to excel in these areas has helped me obtain a solid foundation of knowledge which I hope to relay to others who may need any assistance.

As a student myself, I understand how overwhelming it can be to seek help when you need it. However, I am committed to providing assistance, guidance, and any other means of help within my capabilities to create a safe, welcoming environment to broaden your bank of knowledge.
The outline of my lessons will vary from one student to another. My primary goal is to create an outline that is catered to each individual's needs (which will ideally be established together during the first lessons.)
General expectations will include:
- Discussing what areas the student is seeking aid in
- Establishing an outline that will be followed during each lesson
- Adjusting the outline as needed as lessons progress
General lesson format:
- Discussion with the student (catching up/planning for the lesson and upcoming lessons)
- Lecture
- Worksheets and homework
- Taking up any homework
- Asking and answering questions
