About Ella
I am a student at the University of Toronto, studying education, English, and history. I graduated high school with honours and was accepted into the top universities in Canada. I have previously volunteered with youth aged 7-12 in a STEM camp, where I taught lessons to encourage scientific curiosity. This past year I volunteered in a high school, where I assisted students with neurodiverse needs. During this placement, I also assisted students with essay writing, and thesis planning. Furthermore, I also aided English language learners with their schoolwork. Lastly, I have a background of creative writing, such as writing short stories, plays and poetry.

My specialties are with neurodivergent youth, as I teach from an approach where I prioritize the comfortability of the student. My main goal as an educator is to motivate the student, and encourage them to push past the boundaries they may face. A typical lesson includes reviewing school work a student may have, as well as educating a student beyond what is being taught in their class. My lessons are for all students up to the 12th grade, who may need help with English, or any of the social sciences.
