About Jiya
Hi, there! My name is Jiya, and I am a first-year student at the University of Waterloo in their Honors/Mathematics program.
I've loved mathematics ever since I was in grade 6, and it continues to be one of my favorite subjects, no matter how challenging it gets. I have been a tutor at my own high school for mathematics for grade 11/12 functions/advanced functions, and I found so much joy in helping other students achieve what seems impossible. I'd really like to experience that joy again and help you become a great mathematician!

I am looking to tutor anyone for grade 11/12 highschool mathematics online, preferably university-level math, but college-level also works for me as well!
As a tutor, instead of having my own lesson plan, I'd rather help you side by side with what you learn in school. That being said, I can help "fill in the blanks" with lessons you were taught in school, and we can go forward from there. If there's anything in particular in your math courses that you'd like to learn more about than the rest, then you can let me know, and we can spend most of our time on that. That way, you're learning the exact same material you learn in school and possibly exposing yourself to different ways to come to a solution!
