About Jett
With over 4 years of experience teaching Spanish to college students, I specialize in making the language both accessible and engaging. My teaching style focuses on creating a relaxed and interactive environment where students feel confident to speak and practice. My teaching approach for Spanish is centered on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to grow at their own pace. I believe in cultural sensitivity, understanding that language is deeply connected to culture. I incorporate aspects of Spanish-speaking cultures into lessons, such as traditions, history, and current events, to make the language come alive and give it real-world context.
Problem-solving is another key part of my teaching. I guide students through challenges, whether it’s grammar, pronunciation, or conversation. I believe in breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and providing plenty of practice so students can build confidence.
Open-mindedness is at the heart of my tutoring style. I adapt my lessons to each student's unique learning style and needs. Whether a student learns best through visual aids, conversation, or structured exercises, I adjust my methods to make learning as effective and enjoyable as possible.
In addition to teaching Spanish, I am also happy to help with other subjects related to language learning. My goal is to help students not only master Spanish but also gain a deeper appreciation of its culture and use the language confidently in everyday situations.
