About Nayanthara T
Hi, I’m Nayanthara, an 18-year-old social entrepreneur from Bangalore. My journey into social activism began at 12 when I was recognized by the Indian Development Foundation for my humanitarian efforts. By 14, I was teaching spoken English in villages, which exposed me to educational disparities. In 2022, I founded the Nantra Foundation to bridge this gap. Since then, we’ve impacted over 3,000 children, renovated a government school, and conducted workshops for rural teachers. One notable success story is Madan, a boy who lost his father in the farmers' protest and turned to gambling. With our support, he transformed his life, topped his district in the 10th grade, and now dreams of becoming a doctor. I’m also a content creator, event manager, author, and trustee of the foundation. Our work has been featured on the podcast "Udaan" and in D2D Youth Story magazine, amplifying our mission and inspiring many to join us.
