I have a friendly approach to my students. Being a design student myself for 7 years in the past, I actually know the ways of interactive teaching techniques and have tried them many times. I taught several students in an individual home module and have received very good reviews from them.

  • Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

As an architect, my first experience using a computer was likely during my academic training, where I was introduced to computer-aided design (CAD) software. CAD software has revolutionized the way architects create and design buildings, allowing us to create highly detailed and accurate 3D models that can be easily modified and shared with clients and contractors. CAD software also enables architects to perform complex calculations and simulations to optimize the design process and ensure that buildings are safe, sustainable, and functional. The use of computers in architecture has become an integral part of the profession, allowing architects to work more efficiently, communicate ideas more effectively, and produce better results for clients.
  • What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

The technological evolution that has marked me the most is the advancement of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. BIM software allows architects to create intelligent 3D models that include detailed information about every aspect of a building, including structural systems, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems, materials, and more. BIM software has transformed the way architects design and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, allowing for greater accuracy, efficiency, and coordination throughout the entire building process. In my view, a turning point in this field will be the continued development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies in architecture. AI and ML have the potential to revolutionize the way architects design and analyze buildings, enabling us to make more informed decisions based on vast amounts of data and simulations. These technologies can also help architects to optimize designs for factors such as energy efficiency, structural performance, and occupant comfort, leading to buildings that are safer, more sustainable, and more comfortable to inhabit. Overall, I believe that the integration of AI and ML into architecture will be a significant turning point that will shape the future of the profession.
  • Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

My expertise lies in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. I have experience using various CAD and BIM software programs to create 3D models, generate construction documents, perform energy analysis, and more. I am also knowledgeable in the areas of sustainability, building codes, and construction methods. My interest in these areas stems from a desire to create sustainable, functional, and beautiful buildings that enhance the lives of their occupants and contribute positively to the built environment. I believe that technology plays a crucial role in achieving these goals, as it allows architects to design more efficiently and accurately, collaborate more effectively with other professionals, and make informed decisions based on data and simulations. In the broader computer world, the importance of architecture software lies in its ability to transform the way we design, construct, and operate buildings. By using CAD and BIM software, architects can create highly detailed and accurate 3D models that allow for better visualization and communication of design intent. These models can be easily shared with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders, leading to greater efficiency, coordination, and cost savings. Additionally, BIM software allows for the integration of data from various sources, enabling architects to perform advanced analysis and simulations to optimize building performance and sustainability. Overall, the importance of architecture software in the computer world cannot be overstated, as it is transforming the way we design and build the built environment.
  • Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

I believe that visionaries from various fields can inspire and influence the way we approach our work. While figures such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg have undoubtedly made significant contributions to the computer and technology industry, there are other role models within and outside the field of architecture that I find inspiring. Architects such as Zaha Hadid, Frank Gehry, and Bjarke Ingels are some of my role models. They have challenged the traditional boundaries of architecture and pushed the limits of what is possible in building design. Their works are highly innovative, iconic, and have transformed the built environment in significant ways. Additionally, I find inspiration in architects who prioritize sustainability and environmental responsibility, such as Norman Foster, Renzo Piano, and William McDonough. These architects have incorporated sustainable design principles into their work and have demonstrated how buildings can be both beautiful and environmentally responsible. Ultimately, while figures such as Gates, Jobs, and Zuckerberg have contributed to the technological advancements that have impacted the field of architecture, it is the work and innovation of architects and designers themselves that inspire me most.
  • What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

I understand that many people may feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed when using technology, particularly when they encounter technical difficulties or error messages. However, I would encourage anyone who finds IT to be too complicated to approach it with an open mind and a willingness to learn. Firstly, it's important to recognize that the field of IT is vast and constantly evolving. No one is expected to know everything about it. Instead, it's helpful to focus on specific skills or applications that are relevant to your interests or work. Secondly, there are many resources available for individuals who are new to IT or who want to improve their skills. Online tutorials, forums, and user groups can provide valuable support and guidance. In addition, many software applications have built-in help features or tutorials that can assist users in learning how to use them effectively. Lastly, it's important to remember that practice and patience are key when it comes to learning IT. It may take time to become comfortable with a new software application or to understand a new concept, but with persistence and practice, anyone can develop their IT skills and become more confident in front of a screen. Overall, I would encourage anyone who feels uncomfortable with IT to approach it with a growth mindset, take advantage of available resources, and be patient and persistent in their learning journey.
  • What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

As a software tutor, I have a deep passion for technology and helping others to learn and develop their skills in this field. However, I also have many other passions and interests that are both related and unrelated to computers. One of my related passions is teaching and education. I believe that education is a powerful tool for empowering individuals and improving society, and I enjoy working with people of all ages to help them learn and grow. In addition to teaching software applications and IT skills, I also enjoy teaching other subjects such as writing, language learning, and history. Another related passion of mine is design and creativity. I believe that design is a critical aspect of software development and that good design can greatly enhance the user experience. In my free time, I enjoy exploring different forms of design, including graphic design, product design, and architecture.

Outside of the technology field, I have a passion for travel and exploring new cultures. I find it fascinating to learn about different customs, traditions, and ways of life and enjoy immersing myself in new environments. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing, as well as reading and playing music. Overall, while I am deeply passionate about technology and teaching, I believe that having diverse interests and passions is essential for personal growth and fulfillment.
