About Christopher
I am a Music Ed major, currently studying to become a middle/high school band director specializing in percussion. I have years of both performance and teaching experience. I was in the Cypress Falls Golden Eagle Marching Band, I played marimba my freshman year and marched bass drum as a sophomore-senior. I was the section leader of the drumline my senior year. I currently attend Lone Star College and am getting ready to earn my A.A. in Music. I am intending to transfer to a university to double major in music education and percussion performance. I eventually want to earn my M.M. in Percussion Performance, and a D.M.A in conducting. I have made it into the TMEA All-State Community College Honor Band, placing 2nd in the state of Texas. I have performed numerous times in the TMEA All-Region Band and Orchestra. I am working on my auditions for military band, with the intent to be a military musician. I have drum set experience from being a part of a worship band. I am a very motivated musician, eager to express my talents to individuals who want to excel in music and the percussive arts!
