About Sara
I graduated from California School Of The Arts, San Gabriel Valley, and am currently studying at USC! I am incredibly passionate about not only math, but the arts as well. I love to sing, act, dance, and draw!
In elementary school, I participated in Math Field Day in 4th and 5th grade, a regional competition held in California. Since then, I've been a lover of math as well as an empathizer for how hard math can be - so I want to help make math as interesting for your student as it was for me!
If your child is also artistically inclined, rest assured they will not only be met with professionalism, but someone who understands them, and has the ability to make lessons fun and engaging no matter what.

My lessons are for students in elementary school or middle school needing help with their math homework or studying for upcoming tests. This includes basic elementary math, algebra, and geometry.
In our lesson, I will go through the student's work or study guide and ensure the student fully understands why they have to take each step to solve the problem.
Students who excel in mathematics don't simply memorize algorithms, but rather understand conceptually how the solutions work.
Your student will learn to ask why, learn why, and be able to explain why - and with that understanding, math becomes that much easier.
