About Arasi
I have completed my Master of Computer Applications, and I am passionate about teaching the Tamil language.
As a tutor, I am driven to bring out the talents in my students. I am deeply enthusiastic in ensuring their success. I would also connect teaching to real-world examples, to better their understanding of the subject. I empathize with the student, and try to see their point of view as well. I am patient, and will do my best as a tutor to guide them in the right way.
Through countless practices such as papers, I aim to strengthen their foundational knowledge of the subject. I have been teaching lots of students in group tuition. In 2024, one of my P4 students got 45 out of 45 marks in Term 1 test. Furthermore, in her End Of Year Examination she attained AL1 and was the top student in her class. This year, in Semester 1, she has attained 91% overall for Tamil and Higher Tamil and is consistently the top student in her class.
I have been teaching Tamil Language 8 years and have much expertise in this area. Last year my PSLE student got AL1 and one of my Sec 4 students got A in Tamil and Distinction in Oral Examination. I have a separate WhatsApp Group with 537 members for Tamil clarifications and have helped them greatly with mastering the Tamil Language and guide them towards participating in Tamil competitions as well.
Currently I am teaching 3 P5 students and P1, K2 and also an IP-1 student. I have a YouTube channel also.

Teaching Style & Methodology: I use a fun and friendly approach to make learning Tamil enjoyable and effective. I adapt my methods based on the learner’s needs, and often give homework to reinforce learning. I also regularly meet with parents to track each child’s progress and ensure growth.
Lesson Duration: Lesson length depends on the learner’s age and level.
Kindergarten: About 1 hour
Primary school and Secondary: Around 2 hours
I adjust timings based on attention span and learning difficulty. Experience & Qualifications I have 8 years of experience teaching Tamil and working with young learners.
Who My Lessons Are For: My lessons are open to anyone between kindergarten , primary and secondary level. Whether your child is just starting out or needs help progressing further, I’m here to support their Tamil learning journey!
