About Kim
I am a graduate from the University of Sydney, with a Bachelors of Law and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance). I completed my HSC in 2018 at St George Girls High School and achieved a 99.5+ ATAR, an All-round Achiever, and Band 6 in all of my subjects (Mathematics Ext 1 & 2, English Advanced, English Ext 1, Chemistry, Economics).
I have 6+ years of tutoring experience. I have been a high school tutor, both at tutoring centres and private tutoring, and both in-person and online. I also have experience as a professional university tutor in Law subjects and Commerce/Finance subjects at USYD. These experiences have taught me the best ways to tailor my lessons to help my students enhance their academic skills and achievements.

I am an experienced and motivated tutor who will help you achieve your academic goals and enhancing your knowledge and confidence in your subjects. I have over 6 years of experience in tutoring high school and HSC students, and I offer tutoring for all of the following subjects (which I had achieved Band 6):
• Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 1 and 2 (Year 11-12)
• English Advanced, English Extension, English Standard (Year 11-12)
• Chemistry (Year 11-12)
• Physics (Year 11-12)
• Economics (Year 11-12)
• English, Maths, Science (Year 7-10)
My lessons are tailored to my student’s needs and goals, and I focus on guiding my students to help them overcome weaknesses, improve on strengths, and develop effective and efficient study, note-taking and exam preparation techniques. My lessons will typically involve revision of theory content, learning key skills (e.g., essay writing, creative writing, poetry analysis, application of mathematical or scientific formulas), exercise practices in answering and solving questions, assignment and exam preparation, provision of feedback for improvement, and continuous encouragement of students asking questions.
Over the past 6 years, I have a strong track record of successfully helping my students improve their marks and achieve outstanding academic excellence, with most of my students achieving Band 6s in the HSC and A-grade in their reports.
