About Mhajor
I’m a second-year Doctor of Dental Medicine student at UWA with a strong background in science, biology and chemistry. I’m patient, approachable and organised, and I genuinely enjoy helping students understand topics they may initially find difficult.
Alongside dentistry, I work as a Peer Supporter at UWA, which has strengthened my communication skills and ability to listen, encourage and support students individually.
I tutor Years 7–10 Science, Biology and Chemistry. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to make science easier to understand while helping students become more confident and independent learners.

Every student learns differently, so my lessons are personalised, interactive and built around the individual student rather than simply lecturing through content.
New students begin with a free orientation session and diagnostic assessment to identify their strengths, weaknesses and areas that need improvement. I then use this to plan weekly lessons around their school content and learning goals.
Lessons can include topic explanations, diagrams, homework help, active problem-solving, practice questions and exam-style questions. I encourage students to work through problems with me so they understand how to reach the answer themselves rather than simply memorising information.
Students also receive additional practice questions and mock tests, and they are welcome to contact me with questions throughout the week at no additional cost.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes online and are adapted to each student’s pace, confidence and learning needs.
