About Melissa
Hi there!!! I'm Melissa and I'm turning 22 this year. From my early years in secondary school to my current endeavors in higher education, math has always been my passion and forte. As a valedictorian of the Class of 2021, I've always strived for excellence in academics. My journey in mathematics includes participation in international math competitions such as AMO and SASMO, where I achieved Bronze Awards and Honorable Mentions. Nevertheless, my passion for teaching mathematics goes beyond my own achievements. Since 2022, I've been tutoring within and beyond close networks, sharing my knowledge and techniques with students eager to improve their math skills. To date, I have taught students from Form 2 all the way to Form 5, as well as Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and lower secondary Math Olympiad. However, my journey as a tutor began long before then. Back in secondary school, I discovered my knack for teaching when I helped classmates understand complex math concepts. This passion led me to be chosen to teach and prepare a class of students for a SASMO competition, where I witnessed firsthand the impact of effective teaching and mentorship. In my classes, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and deepen their math understanding. With patience and dedication, I ensure that every student receives the guidance they need to succeed. Here are some of my latest academic achievements:

Details
For KSSM/IGCSE/Olympiad Mathematics and Additional Mathematics lessons with me, the rate is RM50 per student per hour for individual classes. If you prefer group classes, gather a minimum of 2 students, and the rate will be RM45 per student per hour. Group classes provide an excellent opportunity for collaborative learning and discussion. All learning materials and resources are included in the hourly rate, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching learning experience for every student. Additionally, I am fully equipped to conduct online lessons for added convenience and flexibility. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss your specific learning needs and preferences.
