About Katie
I was once a student getting Ds, Us, and detentions. At 16, I decided to turn things around. Since then, I haven’t received a formal grade below top marks! Accordingly, I have a tried and tested, results-driven approach to studying that led me from the bottom of the class to Valedictorian. This considered, I am a great choice to offer grounded, understanding, and individualised tuition. I pride myself on my empathy, and will ensure you feel understood and comfortable every step of the way. Proof? I went from all Us to... - Valedictorian. - 95% on my dissertation, which is awaiting publication. - A*s in OCR English Literature, Edexcel Economics, and Edexcel Politics. - 90+ university average. Outside of academics, I am a competitive powerlifter and hold Scottish squat records. I am currently living in Spain to learn Spanish.

Lessons will typically be an hour, but exceptions can be made on request. I am eager to teach students aged 13-21, and can assist with GCSE essays through dissertations! I have never received a grade below an A, and will ensure that you will reap the same rewards. As someone who previously had extreme difficulty in school, I understand firsthand how frustrating it can be. I would love to be trusted with helping you change this.
