About Monjid
Hi, I’m Monjid, a dedicated and enthusiastic VCE student from Melbourne with a strong passion for helping younger students reach their full potential. I take pride in creating a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and improve with every lesson. With experience tutoring students at the primary and lower secondary levels, I focus on building strong foundations in Math, Science, and English through clear explanations and engaging practice. My tutoring approach focuses on building understanding, confidence, and long-term learning skills rather than just memorising answers. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs and learning style, ensuring that they not only grasp key concepts but can also apply them independently.
I use a mix of step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and real-life examples to make lessons engaging and relevant. I also encourage students to explain their reasoning out loud, which helps identify any misunderstandings and strengthens their communication skills in problem-solving.
Each session typically runs for 60 minutes, with the structure depending on the student’s goals. The first part focuses on revising previous content and identifying weak areas, while the remainder involves learning new material and applying it through exercises, worksheets, and short challenges.
I am a current VCE student in Melbourne with strong academic results and experience tutoring younger students, including a 13-year-old at a Grade 5 level. My lessons are designed for primary and lower secondary students (Years 4–8) who want to improve their understanding and performance in Maths, Science, and English.
My goal is to make learning clear, enjoyable, and rewarding, so every student finishes each session feeling more confident and capable than when they started.
