Maryam is a very attentive student. She wants to learn genuinely. She cooperates with the tutor to make the most out of the sessions. She completes her home-works which helps the tutor to progress her quickly and effectively. She uses session time very very efficiently. Sofya picks up the lesson very quickly. She should not have any problem scoring very high marks in her exam if she works through quite some more of practice material. She understands very well!

veronica i would say is a smart student. she catches the lesson quite quickly and tends to have gripped it properly so that she can rightly apply it in her practice time.

i would not mind rating her with a 5 star!

with the right type of guidance I don't see any reason why she shouldn't complete her aat smoothly.

One of the very best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. My situation was one of the worst and scariest places you could be as a university student where I had to pass 3 exams to avoid being withdrawn. Everything seemed hopeless until I started taking lessons with Swapnil. Within 12 days, by God’s grace, he had gotten me to such a level that I can say that I am confident enough that not only have I passed but I did very good, hopefully,4 on those exams. Aside from his teaching capabilities, he is someone who is very hardworking and very caring. He will genuinely want you to do well and will go all out for you, as your teacher. When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
When I was a student at boarding school other students used to be attracted towards me due to my easy way of interpreting and explaining things... They started to buzz around me...

That was the time I had the feeling of really having a gifted skill unique among all my mates.
Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
I have completed ACCA (the UK based chartered accountancy qualification). So my field of specialization is accounting...

I teach AAT, ACCA, CIMA and other accounting courses (like A levels) very effectively.
Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
Not really! I developed my own teaching ways, which I have found to be unique from other tutors.
What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
I think the first quality to be a good tutor is to be able to communicate to the mind of the student, the ability to understand the pitfalls in the student's understanding of the concept... that point is so important -when you can understand where the student misunderstands (or fails to understand) and emphasize on those specific areas, that really gets the students understanding...

Other qualities are to have a compromising attitude towards students lackings, listening skills and to be able to motivate them by appreciating students' strengths.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
There was a student who was the quietest and the least confident in class. As I said I really get into their minds so I knew what makes her nervous and unconfident. So by the time she completed her 1st 3-months course with me she had already found out all her answers.

The miracle happened in the next course. In the next course she stood out as the loudest student and the most confident one. It seemed she had turned around and stood up strong in the face of her studies.
What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?
As far as professional courses are concerned the only challenge is to get them to do their homework. Due to job and family responsibilities, they often find it hard to manage.
Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?
It's teaching accounting in general.
