I have a degree in physics and computer science, in the past 10 years, after a career in the software industry, I started a flourishing tutoring business teaching physics and math at junior high and (mainly) high school levels, with a personal touch to each one of them.

My unique style stems from both my deep understanding and love of math and physics, from the fundamental level and up, and my love and empathy to human beings as well as a good sense of what drives different people.
I try (and succeed) to quickly "get" the unique characteristics of the student I teach, their psychological, emotional, cognitive and social barriers, and find ways to help them understand, appreciate, enjoy and implement quickly.
I have been teaching online for several years and have perfected my skills at online teaching to be as good, if not better, than physical lessons.
I believe that the best tutors:
- Deeply understand what they are teaching
- Are able to see things from the students’ point of view.
- Understand the unique student’s personality and specific barriers, internal and external.
- Teach bottom-up. Skill always follows comprehension. When comprehension is achieved, skills make sense, come easy, and are easily retained.
- Have a passion for what they are teaching, and try to “infect” their students with this passion.
- Truly aspire to make themselves redundant, or at least minimize the need for them. This is done by helping students understand themselves better, acquire the correct ways of approaching subjects and problems, and gaining (justified) self-confidence.
