About Cheryl
With a BS in Biology and an MA in Education, I have been a science teacher since 2001. I understand that, for some students, science is scary, intimidating, and difficult to relate to. However, my goal as an educator and tutor is to make sure to break the cycle of "scary science" and make it relatable to each student in their own way.

Tutoring should be based on the needs of the student, and therefore it is difficult to say what approach I would take - as it would be different for everyone. However, I am a teacher with experience in providing a variety of teaching styles to help learners of all types. In my regular teaching position, I'm a problem-based learning and critical skills style teacher.
