I am an Assistant Professor in Physics capable of teaching fundamentals to students regardless of their abilities. I have been teaching Physics for over 25 years in a classroom setting with hundreds of rolling students with high pass percentage.

My initial task is to evaluate where the student is currently at, and based on the student I will decide at what level I need to instruct the students, in case of inidividual instruction. In case of groups, the first thing to do is segregate the students based on their current understanding of the subject, so that the pace of instruction can be even.
Next step would be to understand what the student(s) need help with. Based on that I will prepare subject material in the form of presentation which will be explained live with questions answered preferably at the end of the session, unless the question enables the student to understand the subject in discussion. Questions will also be taken asynchronously in an offline mode where I will respond within a certain agreed upon timeframe.
End goal is for the student to have complete understanding of the concept with which the student came for help.
