About Amelia
I received A* in my Biology A Level, and had 3 successful vet school interviews that resulted in offers - I can help you do the same :)
I have been helping several students with their vet school applications on an informal basis, and am happy to provide support and answer queries about what can seem to be a daunting process.
Having recently been through the process of school exams and university applications myself, I am fully aware of the stress and uncertainty that can surround such times. I'm keen to provide clarity on the process, ensuring that students feel supported and able to achieve the best that they can.

Hi :) I'm Amelia. I'm a first year vet student studying at the University of Nottingham. I'm passionate about helping people with the many aspects of a veterinary medicine application (from personal statement to interview technique), and I can also provide support with Biology at GCSE and A Level.
I tailor the lessons to the student I am teaching and am guided by them throughout. If there are particularly tricky topics, I'm happy to talk through key concepts in a clear, concise way, improving understanding and providing easy-to-follow notes to aid with revision. If exam technique is presenting the problem, I can help with fine-tuning a good answer so that it makes those top marks, whilst at the same time offering advice on how to cope with the exam scenario itself.
I know how important confidence is in academic achievement so am supportive and encouraging throughout the process. Whilst I have been successful in my exams, I know what it's like be a student stuck on a topic, wondering if you're ever going to understand it, make the grade you need or get an interview at your top university. I aspire to give students those "light-bulb moments" that can give them confidence in themselves and their abilities.
