About Naomi
I’m a second-year student at Monash University and a native Vietnamese speaker. I’ve previously tutored students in Vietnam, which has helped me build a patient, structured teaching style and strong communication skills. I teach Vietnamese aligned with Australia’s LOTE approach, focusing on real communication and cultural understanding. Lessons are practical and student-centred: we build speaking confidence first, then strengthen listening, reading and writing through themed tasks (daily life, school, travel, family and community). I tailor activities to your level—beginners to intermediate—and support VCE-style outcomes where relevant: vocabulary building, pronunciation/tones, grammar in context, short writing, and conversation practice. Typical lessons are 60 minutes (90-120 minutes available) and include clear goals, guided practice, and simple homework or revision notes.
