My daughter has been learning violin from Kate since the beginning from grade 1 - 8, followed by ARSM Diploma. Kate has been very patient and we are very grateful to have a violin teacher like Kate - she knows the syllabus of ABRSM and standard of exam very well, and at the same time she knows how to motivate and encourage my daughter when she was in junior school. Under Kate’s guidance, my daughter was awarded the music scholarship at 11+ from one of the top private senior school in England. I would highly recommend Kate!

She was teaching not only violin but theory and composition which helped my daughter for her GCSE's composition course work. Kate is able to convey her knowledge with such a patience. Kate is such a fantastic violin teacher. She always strives for the best for her pupils. My daughter (who is 16 now) was a pupil of Kate for a long time and always really enjoyed her lessons. She has achieved her Grade 8 in violin and also got a Music Exhibition at Charterhouse for sixth form, which is all credit to Kate’s teaching. She is also a Music Scholar at her current school. Kate is a very hardworking and dedicated teacher and we have been lucky to have her as a tutor.

Having only started playing violin around 7 years ago, Kate has been the most supportive and encouraging teacher a pupil could ask for. I’m now working towards my grade 8 exam and play for Guildford Symphony Orchestra thanks to her. Can’t recommend Kate enough!

Kate has been my sons teacher for several years. She is incredibly patient and caring. We have had experience with other violin teachers prior to finding Kate. But she is a breath of fresh air and taken my son who is 12tears old through five grades. My daughter has also started lessons with Kate and we feel very lucky to have her teach both our children.
