About Florencia
I began the study of the violin when I was 8 years old, at the age of 16 I began my first steps in teaching in the Sonant Groups project, as an honorary assistant teacher, and two years later through an opposition and merits contest I I became a grade 1 teacher at the University of the Republic (Oriental del Uruguay) to continue collaborating with the project.
I studied my degree in violin at the Higher School of Music of the National Institute of Fine Arts
I was part of the Youth Orchestra of the State of Mexico, among other groups, and currently I am a teacher of the violin workshop of two private schools and teacher of the initial violin chair at the Santa Fé Cultural Center.

My teaching method starts from the base of empathy with the student, respect for their personal process and respect and care for their body. According to these three basic precepts, we will build together a work plan that adapts to the student's tastes and interests and also serves to grow technically and instrumentally and meet the objectives.
At all levels, we will work on three basic routes that They are: Musicality, tuning and sound.
In the case of initial students, literacy or music theory will be worked on in the classes in parallel with the study of the instrument, so that reading is always related to sound.
Both for advanced students and for the more initial ones, the classes work on basic concepts (according to the level and of great importance for musical interpretation) of harmony and musical analysis.

En cada clase resolvíamos o trabajamos detalladamente sobre algún (o varios) problema(s) que presentará en aquello que estaba trabajando. Iba a casa con claridad sobre qué estudiar y cómo estudiarlo. Claridad impermeada por una gran honestidad de parte de Florencia, lo cual me permitió sentir confianza en en camino que construíamos cada semana y tener absoluta claridad sobre hacia dónde íbamos, derivando en un muy eficaz y profundo aprendizaje.
Porque es muy paciente y se puede sentir la pasion que tiene tanto por la ensenanza como por el violin y la musica. Es una persona con una preparacion bastante basta que la respalda para poder transmitir el conocimiento a otras personas que lo necesiten.
Florencia fue mi profesora de violín por un par de años, sus clases siempre fueron muy motivadoras fue de gran inspiración para mí, alguien con actitud positiva siempre y mucha sabiduría de la cual aprendí mucho lo que hoy sé, éramos un grupo de alumnos de todas las edades y ella siempre conectada y dedicada, tengo un gran agradecimiento, gran persona y artista que admiro mucho.
