About Umberto
I am a violinist but on a professional level I mainly deal with composition and production of music for audiovisuals. Violin has always been an extra weapon in my approach to music making, both for the skills it gives to strings composition and in the production phase, being able to record the parts by myself. I've been making music for Dolce & Gabbana for 5 years, I have made soundtracks for CostaCrociere, a feature film streamed on primevideo called “Maschile Singolare” and a Sky miniseries called “Ritoccati”.

My approach to the subject includes a creation of solid classical foundations, taken from my Conservatory background, but then gives space to what the direction the students wants for him/herself. All this while keeping an eye on the musical realities of today, and how to move between them.
