About Lila
As a violin tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Historical Performance (Baroque Violin), I specialize in early childhood teaching. I am passionate about helping young children develop a strong musical ear. I believe learning should feel like play.
I focus on listening and imitation as key learning tools. Storytelling turns music into something meaningful and fun. Rhythm games help students feel timing naturally. Movement connects music to the body.
Simple melodies build confidence and listening skills. Technique is introduced gradually through engaging activities. I draw from Suzuki and Kodály-inspired methods.
Each lesson is adapted to the child’s pace. I encourage creativity and exploration. I create a warm learning environment. Progress is supported with patience.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong violin technique and confident musical expression. I guide students step by step with patience. Vibrato development is a key part of my lessons.
I teach vibrato using simple exercises that build control. Students learn how to manage speed and width with ease. This helps create a relaxed and natural sound. I focus on steady progress.
We also explore how vibrato can be used in phrasing. Students learn how to add emotion and shape their sound. This brings more depth to their playing. Listening is always part of the process.
