About Azazel
Chilean violinist with 15 years of training and experience in the field. In 2010 she began her musical studies in the Youth Orchestra of Pudahuel (OJP) with Professor Hilke Orth. Later, in 2017, she is admitted to the career of Musical Interpretation at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she enters as a student of Professor Rubén Sierra, then continues and finishes the career with Professor Oriana Silva. In 2023, she graduated as a Music Interpreter with mention in Violin at the aforementioned university. She has participated in several master classes, courses, workshops and national and international festivals, such as the International Music Festival in Patagonia (Coyhaique, Chile), the International Chamber Music Master Course and Easter Academy at the Teatro del Lago (Frutillar, Chile), Baroque Orchestral Practice Workshop at the Summer School of the UC Music Institute, Young Artist Summer Program at Curtis Institute of Music (USA) and the Chamber Music and Orchestra Course at Collegium Musicum (Germany), among others. She has also been invited to perform in national professional ensembles and orchestras such as the Orquesta Barroca de Santiago, Estudio de MusicAntigua UC, Ensamble Helios, Cuarteto Austral, Solistico de Santiago, Orquesta Clásica USACH, Orquesta Filarmónica de Temuco, Orquesta Filarmónica Regional de Atacama, Orquesta de Cámara de la Universidad de Aysén, Camerata de la Universidad de los Andes, Camerata de la Universidad Andrés Bello, among others. In February 2024 she was invited to the 1st International Violin Festival of the Altiplano (FIVA) in Puno, Peru, to give master classes on the fundamentals of baroque music. She is currently pursuing a Second Level Academic Diploma in Baroque Violin at the Guido Cantelli Conservatory of Novara (Italy).
