About Mae
I have 8 years of experience teaching violin and hold a Master’s Degree in Violin and Chamber Music. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided students in developing stronger technique, improved musical expression, and greater performance confidence. Helping learners reach important milestones is one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.
My teaching style emphasizes careful listening, steady progress, and individualized support. I believe every student benefits from lessons that are tailored to their unique strengths and learning needs. Building confidence and musical independence remains a central focus of my work.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music collaborations, score study, and exploring different performance traditions. These experiences enrich my understanding of music and contribute valuable insights to my lessons. I am passionate about helping students grow into confident and expressive violinists.

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop strong technique while building confidence in their musical abilities. We focus on posture, bow control, intonation, tone production, rhythmic consistency, articulation, and musical phrasing. Every lesson provides a balance between technical growth and artistic expression.
Students participate in scale work, technical studies, repertoire learning, listening exercises, ensemble awareness activities, and performance preparation. I provide practical demonstrations and clear explanations that help learners understand challenging concepts more effectively. Lessons are adapted to individual goals and experience levels.
I enjoy helping students discover greater confidence through consistent improvement and musical achievement. Through supportive feedback and structured learning, learners strengthen both their technical abilities and artistic understanding. My goal is to make violin study inspiring, productive, and enjoyable.
