About Tessa
My name is Tessa and I have been playing violin since the age of 9. I played violin continuously through my childhood and youth in orchestras and more recently in a string quartet as well. In this way I have built up my musical skills including sight-reading, theory of music knowledge, chord structure, popular classical repertoire and folk and traditional music tunes of England, Scotland and Ireland.

My experience of teaching people from all ages and backgrounds means that I quickly adapt to each pupil. My non-judgemental approach means that I adapt to the level of each pupil and their approach. I have experience of teaching beginners to advanced pupils. Whether you are wanting to play for fun or considerably increase your skill level. What is important is your passion for violin and violin music!
