About Sophia
Hi! I’m Sophia Chang, a violinist and a high school student attending Earl Haig's Claude Watson Music Program. I am passionate about helping students of all levels build their confidence and technical skills. I earned my ARCT with first class honors along with advanced piano and theory certifications. With experience in various ensemble settings, including concertmaster at Earl Haig’s Symphony Orchestra, and a member of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra, I have the leadership and discipline to guide others in their musical journey. Some of my achievements include 1st Prizes of the Kiwanis Music festival and 1st Prizes of the International Music Festival and Competition. Whether you are a beginner looking for something fun or someone preparing for an RCM exam, I'm excited to make each lesson valuable and rewarding!
