About Sumin
I’m a senior year student at Peabody Conservatory under Herbert Greenberg who was a concertmaster of the Baltimore Symphony. My next step for the study is Juilliard School in NY with Joseph Lin who was a previous 1st violinist of Juilliard Quartet. I have participated in Aspen Music Festival and New York String Orchestra Seminar in Carnegie Hall both with fellowships. Also was invited to perform in Spain and Mexico embassies. Have worked with Victor Danchenko, Brentano Quartet, and Verona Quartet.

Korean
Amateur: learning proper posture for bow grip, vibrato, and using bow. Basics are most important to play violin. For the repertoire, we can start with basic suzuki and etudes. This could be depends on student’s proficiency in violin.
A student who is thinking of majoring in violin: we can focus on good tone quality and improve student’s own musicality. For this level of student, making a big line of music is important. And I can help with this.
