About Ava
I am a violin tutor with 10 years of teaching experience and a PhD in String Music Education. My journey in music has allowed me to work with beginners, developing musicians, and advanced students seeking greater technical and artistic control. Teaching has become one of the most rewarding parts of my professional life.
My approach combines patience, structure, and adaptability. I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust lessons to suit individual strengths and learning styles. This helps learners build confidence while developing strong musical foundations.
I believe violin study should support both personal growth and artistic development. Helping students discover their musical potential while building lasting skills brings me great satisfaction. I look forward to guiding learners through every stage of their musical journey.

My violin lessons focus on building strong fundamentals while helping students enjoy the learning process. I create structured lessons that combine technical development with musical understanding so learners can progress with confidence. Each session is designed to make improvement feel steady, achievable, and rewarding.
Students work on bow distribution, left-hand coordination, tone refinement, shifting accuracy, rhythm control, and performance preparation. I also include listening exercises and focused practice methods that help learners become more aware of their sound and technique. Every lesson is adapted to the student's current level and goals.
I enjoy helping students develop confidence through consistent progress and positive reinforcement. Supportive feedback allows learners to overcome challenges while maintaining motivation. My goal is to help every student become a skilled and expressive violinist who enjoys making music.
